Heat Format Karting
Before the event starts all the drivers must take part in a practice session to familiarise themselves with both the karts and the racetrack.
Every driver then gets a fixed number of races starting from a spread of
grid positions.
Points are given for finishing positions and all the race information including the leader board are displayed on the computer monitors in the viewing area in real time.
For groups of under 30, each driver has 6 qualifying heats and the top 10 point scorers race off in the Grand Final.
For groups of over 30 each driver has 5 qualifying heats with the top 20 point scores qualifying for two semi-final races and then the top 10 drivers race in the Grand Final.
Trophies are presented to the Top Three Drivers
