Dan Gunfield took the kart 3 rd but with in a lap he came back into the pits, Tom disconnected all the timing wires from the right engine and the problem was solved. Where a weight had been placed on top of a wire this was shorting the engine. Dan continued his run and made up a lot of lost time.

In the scorching heat and with no Paul it was Clintons Job to take the last stint. He had driven well throughout the day and with 1hr 50 mins left of the race could he undo any damage to our already crumbling championship standings. Another superb drive placed Roadrunner Racing 9 th in class not bad for breakages.
